It all began during the winter of 2005 when two high school friends (Stouf and Mij) surprisingly met up in Amsterdam : Starboard Silent Side was born (a two piece band with only guitars and vocals) ...
6 months later the band returned to the home land and dropped anchor in Paris (where the band is now settled today) ... once again fate led our two fellows to an old high school friend (Nico) who decided to hop onboard and asked a drummer-friend of his (Thibo) to join the adventure. The band was now a 4 piece (2 guitars / vocals / double bass - bass / drums) and started to gather solid speed thanks to a generous tailwind ...
While serenely sailing the musical seas, our crew (thanks to the Narrow Terence brothers) luckily got presented to the illustrious Belgian violin player from DAAU : Buni ... and later on (with the help of a lively schoolmate also known as "Gotlib") got (re)introduced to the renowned jazz saxophonist : Etienne (yet again an old high school pal) ...
